No where else but in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley of Washington State, with its long agricultural heritage, will you see and experience the fragrance, color, taste and richness of our lavender. And this is due to the boundless determination, pride and energy exhibited year-round by the many lavender growers and entrepreneurs of the Sequim Lavender Growers Association. Please check our website for updates on activities and to visit our members all year round.
Sequim Lavender is now recognized and purchased in international markets. We have federally trademarked “Celebrate Lavender” and “Sequim Lavender Festival” which we are very proud of. Our members’ farms and businesses have received exclusive reviews in popular travel, garden and vacation publications. Our association membership has grown to include new growers and entrepreneurs who will bring creative ideas and different perspectives to the group for the future. Members enjoy and have pride in showing off our beautiful landscapes and countryside.
We really want to get out to the community is that we are a non-profit organization. A substantial portion of the profits benefit local community groups. This year we have given scholarships to local students from Sequim High School, donated to the Sequim Senior Center, Sequim Library, Paws in the Garden and Sequim Boys & Girls Club just to mention a few. In addition, many of our members give willingly, and quietly back to the community on their own.
As our popularity grows, so does the demand for information about lavender. The SLGA is pleased to present the highly informative 4th North American Lavender Conference, a three day educational seminar featuring speakers who are recognized experts in the cultivation, creative uses and marketing of lavender. We look forward to having our 4th North American Lavender Conference this fall.
